Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ,
And empowered by the Holy Spirit
We commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
To support the mission of the church worldwide,
To work for justice and peace, and
To build an inclusive, caring community of women
that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

Membership

All women members of Faith Presbyterian Church who wish to participate are members of Presbyterian Women. Non-church members are also eligible and welcome to join.  Anyone who has elected to be inactive may become active upon request by contacting the Presbyterian Women Moderator, Vice Moderator, or a Circle Leader.

Presbyterian Women are under the sponsorship of the Session of Faith Presbyterian Church.  Since the Church operates on a unified budget, the Church treasury provides funding. “Love Offerings” for selected circle projects, special occasions, and circle “Joys” are separate collections.

Circles meet the second week of each month, from September through May.  It is at the discretion of each circle as to whether it will meet in the month of June. Circles provide fellowship, Bible study, prayer and opportunities for service to our church and community.

Moderator: Windy Taylor
