The Pumpkins are Coming!!

The Pumpkin Patch at Faith has become a huge event in our community, which means it takes lots of hands to make it happen! Please use the links below to sign up to help. If you prefer not to use sign-up genius, we will have paper copies of the sign-ups on the Pumpkin Patch bulletin board outside the Parlor soon:

We are looking forward to seeing the best crop of scarecrows ever this year, so start planning! This year's
categories are:

  • Best Scarecrow Submitted by a Group (Sunday School Class, Women's Circle, Choir, etc.)
  • Best Traditional Scarecrow
  • Best in Show

The Pumpkin Patch Kickoff is Sunday, October 7, 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. If you haven't made your scarecrow by then, only materials for traditional scarecrows will be available at the church the day of the kickoff. Remember to build your scarecrow strong and sturdy! And please, nothing controversial! We have a church of wonderfully diverse members, so be mindful of what might offend. We welcome decorating supply donations such as: overalls, uniforms, colorful long sleeve shirts, long sleeve dresses, old Halloween costumes, jewelry, scarves, hats, gloves, shoes, sandals, wigs, material, pillows and pantyhose for stuffing, old toys, old yard tools, etc. for props. Anything that just might outfit a Pumpkin Patch Scarecrow! If you need someone to pick the items up or to reserve a scarecrow frame, contact Shannon Guse,
