Children
At Faith Presbyterian we believe that Christian Education is important, especially for children. We hope that our programs will help your child and entire family grow in relationship with God and each other. Our primary goal is to help children know they are loved by God and by their family of faith. We are here to support families as they Follow the Path of Christ into discipleship, Christian community, and the world.

The 2012-2013 Children's Program Registration Form can be found here.  Please complete it and bring it to the first Wednesday night or Sunday morning program your child attends this school year.

We often send out e-mail reminders about reoccuring events and invitations to special opportunities for children.  If you would like to recieve such e-mails, complete the form below:

Nursery
We hope that both parents and children will feel at home in the nursery.  Our primary purpose is to enhance your family’s time of worship, study, and service by providing a safe and loving environment for your children. The nursery is available Sunday mornings beginning at 8 a.m. 2-year-olds have Sunday School at 10 a.m. to listen and play a Bible story and have a snack. Nursery care is also provided for other events and meetings throughout the week.

Sunday School for Ages 3 through 5th graders
These ages use LIVE B.I.G. Sunday School curriculum by Cokesbury Publishing (www.ilivebig.com). This curriculum starts each lesson with a short age-appropriate DVD to introduce the Bible story, the theme of the month and to show faith role models. There are new Bible stories each week that point to the theme of the month.

  • 3 and 4-year-olds (3-years-old by January 2013)- Room 308 (Preschool Wing)
  • Kindergarten - Room 307 (Preschool Wing)
  • 1st & 2nd Graders - Room 209
  • 3rd Graders - Room 207

Children’s Enrichment - Room 102 & Playground
Children’s Enrichment is a Pre-K program for 3, 4 and 5-year-olds that immediately follows Sunday School and lasts through worship. Children are always welcome to attend part or all of worship with their family.  Some parents take their preschooler to worship through the Prayer for Our Young Disciples and then take them to Children's Enrichment.

Children's Worship - Room 206
Kindergarten through 2nd graders are welcome to attend Children's Worship. After the Prayer for Our Young Disciples at the 11:00 worship service, children transition to Room 206 where they participate in a worship service and explore some of the great Bible stories through the Godly Play curriculum. Children's worship does not meet on Communion Sundays or during the summer.
